As a Christian school in the classical tradition, TCS has the end in mind when partnering with parents in the education and formation of their children (from kindergarten through 12th grade). Our Profile of a Graduate has 3 pillars (in order of priority): Spiritual, Relational, and Intellectual.
Spiritual: TCS Graduates love, follow and serve the Lord Jesus Christ with mind, heart, and hands
TCS graduates, by God’s grace alone, are spiritually grounded and meaningfully participate in the local body of Christ. They know, understand and can effectively communicate the Gospel of salvation to others. In their personal and public life, they model consistent Christian character and apply biblical standards faithfully in everyday life.
Relational: TCS Graduates respect, serve and uplift others
TCS Graduates recognize others as fellow image-bearers of God and treat them with dignity, honesty, courtesy, and compassion. They show respect and love for God, authority, and community. Accordingly, as good stewards, they contribute their God-given gifts and talents to serve family, church, and community. They also are intentional in their academic and everyday life, accept personal responsibility for their actions, and pursue God-glorifying solutions to problems.
Intellectual: TCS Graduates think, know, and apply what they have learned with wisdom and eloquence
TCS graduates do not pursue knowledge for personal vanity, but instead as a means to know God and live intelligently and purposefully in service of God and man. In academic and everyday life, TCS Graduates wisely apply the Scriptures and core academic knowledge learned through their education. They do so by skillfully and eloquently use the tools of learning (research, logic and critical thinking) and rhetoric (reading, writing listening and speaking).
