Profile of a Graduate

As a Christian school in the classical tradition, TCS has the end in mind when partnering with parents in the education and formation of their children (from kindergarten through 12th grade). To that end, we have developed a Profile of a Graduate laying out the attributes of an ideal graduate who embodies our Vision and Mission.

This Profile has 3 pillars, which, by God’s grace, would be demonstrated by a Graduate: Spiritual, Relational, and Intellectual.

Spiritual: TCS Graduates would love, follow and serve the Lord Jesus Christ with mind, heart, and hands
TCS graduates would be spiritually grounded and meaningfully participate in the local body of Christ. They would know, understand and could effectively communicate the Gospel of salvation to others. In their personal and public life, they would model consistent Christian character and apply biblical standards faithfully in everyday life.

Relational: TCS Graduates would respect, serve and uplift others
TCS Graduates would recognize others as fellow image-bearers of God and treat them with dignity, honesty, courtesy, and compassion. They would show respect and love for God, authority, and community. Accordingly, as good stewards, they would contribute their God-given gifts and talents to serve family, church, and community. They would also be intentional in their academic and everyday life, accept personal responsibility for their actions, and pursue God-glorifying solutions to problems.

Intellectual: TCS Graduates would think, know, and apply what they have learned with wisdom and eloquence
TCS graduates would not pursue knowledge for personal vanity, but instead as a means to know God and live intelligently and purposefully in service of God and man. In academic and everyday life, TCS Graduates would wisely apply the Scriptures and core academic knowledge learned through their education. They would do so by skillfully and eloquently use the tools of learning (research, logic and critical thinking) and rhetoric (reading, writing listening and speaking).
