On Friday, November 19, 2021, TCS held the Jogathon Fundraiser at Camp Dawson. Though it was cold and very windy, the sun was shining, and students walked and ran with enthusiasm following after the “Great Pumpkin” (alum Lucas). Even injured students made an effort to participate as much as possible!
The Jogathon was followed by a Fall Festival, complete with snacks, games, face painting, and crafts. High school students helped to man the activity booths for elementary students, while junior high students participated in fun STEM activities. Elementary students took part in some STEM activities later in the day while the secondary students enjoyed snacks and fellowship time.
Overall, the day was a great success, and we are thankful for everyone who participated and helped. Thank you to all of the student council students who helped in the preparations, set up, and clean up. Thank you to Mrs. Erika for planning and running the STEM activities. And again, a big thank you to Mrs. Esther who worked very hard in the days and weeks preceding the event to make sure everything came together and ran smoothly.
